What we collect and why

Visiting the website. Our hosting provider processes technical data (IP address, browser, pages requested) to deliver the website and keep it secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure website.
Taps on WhatsApp, call and email buttons. We count these clicks with the page, the campaign or source of the visit and the type of device. Your IP address is not stored: it is replaced by a code that changes every day. Legal basis: legitimate interest (knowing which pages and campaigns bring inquiries). Kept for 24 months.
Inquiry Reference. When you tap a WhatsApp button, the message is pre-filled with a short reference (Ref: R-XXXXXX). If you send it, we use it to know which page and source brought you to us. Without your consent for advertising, ad identifiers such as the ad click ID are not used. You can delete the reference before sending. References that are never used are deleted after 90 days.
Your inquiry, quotation and booking. When you message us on WhatsApp, call or email us, we process your name, phone number, messages and booking details to answer you, prepare quotations and manage your booking. Legal basis: steps before a contract and the contract itself; accounting and tax obligations for bookings.
Analytics and advertising. Only with your consent, as described below. Legal basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

The country of a visitor is determined from the IP address with a database stored on our own server; the IP address itself is not kept. We do not sell personal data and we do not take decisions about you by automated means.

Cookies and similar technologies

If you visit from the European Union or the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, or if we cannot determine where you are, nothing beyond what is strictly necessary is used until you choose: you can accept everything, reject everything or choose per purpose, and rejecting is as easy as accepting. Elsewhere, analytics and advertising are on from your first visit. Everywhere, you can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page, and a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser switches advertising off.

To know which rules apply, the website asks our server for the country of your IP address. The answer is not stored. Country detection uses the DB-IP Lite database (db-ip.com, CC BY 4.0).

The fonts and the scripts of this website are served from our own server, so viewing a page does not send your data to third parties. Some photos and videos are loaded from revoluxrentals.com, our own website.

Who receives data

Hostinger: hosting of this website and of our customer management system.
Meta Platforms (WhatsApp): when you contact us on WhatsApp, your messages are delivered through WhatsApp and the WhatsApp Business Platform.

These providers process data on our behalf or as independent providers under their own terms. Some of them process data outside the United Arab Emirates and outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, these transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep data

Click statistics: 24 months. Unused Inquiry References: 90 days. Records of cookie choices: 24 months.
Inquiries, conversations, quotations and bookings: as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal, accounting and tax obligations. You can ask us to delete them earlier where the law allows.
Google Analytics data: according to the retention period of our Google Analytics account (at most 14 months).

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU and UK GDPR, the Swiss data protection law and the UAE Personal Data Protection Law), you can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, a copy in a portable format, and object to processing based on legitimate interest or to direct marketing. You can withdraw your consent at any time without affecting what was done before. Write to info@revoluxrentals.com; we answer within one month. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the authority of your EU country, the UK Information Commissioner's Office or the UAE Data Office.

Children

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
